THIXO-TOOL additive

Thixo-Tool is a unique additive developed by ALCHIMICA to resolve difficulties in the application of Hyperdesmo ® System on a severely inclined, uneven or completely vertical surfaces. The recommended ratio of additive Thixo-Tool is 10-30% depending on the inclination of the surface, the condition of the subfloor and the desired end result. Thixo-Tool can be used together with Accelerator 3000A when recommended last. Thixo-Tool should not be used with any of the products in which bitumen is used. (the entire line of material Hyperdesmo®-PB) Features and benefits. • The product is available in a plastic tub weighing 1 kg, which makes it easy to add Thixo-Tool in mastic Hyperdesmo® without a significant loss of product. • Thixo Tool is a product that, though largely only enhances the thixotropic properties of mastic Hyperdesmo®, it doesn't affect the final viscosity of the product. Recommended usage: It is recommended in systems Hyperdesmo® on pitched and corrugated metal roofs, sloping and smooth surfaces and also for applying mastic to a vertical surface. For example, in the protection of polyurethane foam for applying a uniform layer of Hyperdesmo® on a raised surface irregularities and depressions. Shortage of material may lead to the ingress of moisture into the foam, and the excess of mastic to the long polymerization and "boiling" of mastic, and the formation of bubbles.
